Accessibility Statement
Last updated 6 September 2026
Managing your money should not depend on how you see, hear, or operate a computer. We build LedgerLeaf to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or whatever combination works for you.
Conformance target
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We are partially conformant: most of the product meets this standard, and the exceptions we know about are listed below. We would rather name them than claim a level we have not fully verified.
What we do
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone.
- A visible focus indicator is shown for keyboard users on every focusable element.
- Status and validation are conveyed with text or icons, never by colour alone.
- Text and interface colours target a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 in both light and dark themes.
- Form controls have real, associated labels, and errors say what to do next.
- Content is structured with semantic HTML and a correct heading order.
- The interface respects your operating-system reduced-motion preference.
Known limitations
These are open and being worked on:
- Some data tables in the authenticated app have not yet had a full screen-reader review, and column relationships may not be announced consistently.
- A few destructive actions still use the browser's native confirmation dialog rather than the app's own accessible dialog. These are usable, but visually inconsistent.
- Charts convey trends visually and are not yet paired with an equivalent text or table summary.
Report a barrier
If something blocks you, tell us and we will treat it as a defect, not a suggestion. Email support@theledgerleaf.com with the page and what went wrong. We reply within 1–2 business days and will tell you our plan and timeline for a fix.
If you use assistive technology, mentioning which one helps us reproduce the problem faster.
