FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is LedgerLeaf free to use?

Yes. LedgerLeaf has no paid tiers during early access—no credit card required. If pricing is introduced later, existing users will get clear notice first.

Do I need to give LedgerLeaf my bank login?

No. LedgerLeaf never connects directly to your bank or stores banking credentials. You export a CSV from your bank and upload it—you control exactly what's imported, and when.

Who can see my financial data?

You remain the owner of your accounts, transactions, and documents. When you invite a professional to collaborate, access is scoped and time-bound rather than a full handoff of your data.

Can I use LedgerLeaf as a bookkeeper or advisor for multiple clients?

Yes. A professional workspace lets you apply consistent categorization and reporting workflows across the clients you manage, with each client's data kept separately scoped.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. Account deletion is self-service from Settings, with an explicit confirmation step, and permanently removes your account data—it isn't only available on request.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet as a dedicated app. LedgerLeaf is a responsive web app today, so it works in your phone's browser, and we're evaluating a native or installable experience.

How do I get help or report a problem?

Email us at support@theledgerleaf.com—we read every message, especially early-access feedback. See the Help page for more.
